Three friends search for a missing man in Manchester, New Hampshire

Bay City Blues is an American comedy-drama series that aired on NBC from October 1983 to November 1983. The series stars Michael Nouri, Dennis Franz, and Pat Corley, and was created and produced by Steven Bochco. Eight episodes were produced, but only four were aired prior to its cancellation.

Two hit men, a call girl, and a gay couple become entangled in a web of violence. In the course of one night, they just narrowly miss each other.

In the aftermath of a violent robbery, a New Orleans doctor, Eugene Grimes, wakes to find a wounded woman and $2 million in cash on his doorstep. In pursuit of the thieves, police captain Clarence Jefferson discovers that Grimes is the key not only to the money but to a dark web of intrigue and vengeance stretching back to a bloody civil war in El Salvador a decade before.

In the turbulence of Auckland, Ska (Hunter) is a streetwise 19 year old, whose father is a drunkard and whose older sister works at a high-class massage parlour. When he decide to “rescue” her, he is thrown out. With some friends, he take revenge by trashing the place, but the reply results in Ska's best friend being killed. The massage parlour boss is also a crooked concert promoter, so Ska, and his gang, “hijack” a concert which incites the audience to riot.

Private investigator, LOU LUCK (LUCCIARDI), returns from a failed assignment in Australia to his hometown of Cincinnati. He is hired by AUDREY LANE, wife of deceased (murdered) DONALD LANE, CEO of Quartermain Electronics, to protect her from the violence that has already claimed the lives of other family members, including her younger sister, NOREEN. Lou meets MANLEY PRESTON--an Australian--at a bar. The two are forced into a quick friendship by taking each others part in a brawl. In actuality, Preston is a mercenary hired by the RUSSIANS to eliminate the key individuals in the Quartermain upper echelons and to recover stolen Soviet missile codes. Kozinsky's motive--besides money--is revenge against the Russians for killing his brother, IVAN. A third, half-brother, DEMKO, is the mastermind behind the entire scheme. Audrey's goal is to have Preston eliminate all the Quartermain people, give her the codes and then leave the Russians locked out of their own missile system. With control ...

It's 1998 in Dickinson, North Dakota and the beloved Dickinson High School mascot, the Fighting Midget, is under assault by pc-minded townsfolk who prefer the less threatening moniker, the Fighting Pheasant. As Danny wrestles with life's uncertainty he faces his past and sets a plan for his future.

The story takes place just after the end of World War II in San Angelo, the biggest city on the west coast. King Harvey the head of the Elcinoa Mafia family ruled the city. King had a magic touch with dice. He built up a huge fortune by gambling. When he was powerful enough he knocked out the gang that was his rival, the Brass family, and became King of San Angelo. King Harvey was generous with bribes and the city police chief was in his pocket. Even though some of the Brass gang wanted revenge, King appeared invincible with his own might and with police protection. One day Harvey's luck ran out.

Chile and Head, two wannabe thugs, get more than they bargained for when they duck into a blues joint while on the run from the cops. The seventy-year-old owner of the club and his staff, each societal misfits in their own right, become hostages and bear witness to an intense journey of self discovery as Chile and Head move down vastly divergent paths.
